We have recently divided Users and Contacts into 2 separate entities within the Dropsend Business plan.
We now have 4 different kinds of Users:
Business users can now create from their control panel a special “DropBox” to place on a website for their users to be able to upload files to a preselected folder in the Business Users online file storage area.
Business users can now select a period of time between 1 day and 14 days for their recipient to download the file(s) they sent using DropSend. Also added in this new release is the ability for Business users to specify how many times their sent file(s) can be downloaded. This will allow Business users to better control access to their files and manage their online resources more effectively.
We just added a new feature to allow Business Plan users to password protect individual files before they are sent providing an added level of security for all Business Plan users.
Business plan users can now add their own branded logo onto the emails sent from their Business Plan accounts. This features adds a nice professional appearance to all emails.
If you’ve signed up for our Business Account, you can customize the colors and logo of your account. Just log in and go to the “My Account” tab at the top of the page, and scroll down to “Appearance Settings”. You need to be the account owner in order to do this (the person who signed up for the account).
In the “Colours” section, you can enter four different color areas. You need to enter a “HEX” code for the color you would like. Here are some common ones:
If you’d like a custom colour, use this free tool. Make sure to copy the code correctly as zeros and O’s make a difference.
When using the DropSend Business Plan, you can create two types of users:
The difference between “Internal” and “External” Contacts is in what they have permission to do on the system.
Usually everyone who works at your company will be “Internal” and everyone else (clients, 3rd parties, etc) will be “External”.
Internal Contacts can:
External Contacts can:
When you’ve signed up for the DropSend Business Plan, the storage area is shared by all “internal” contacts, or people from your company. “External” contacts, usually your clients and suppliers, cannot see or use the storage.
On the DropSend Business Plan, there are two types of users: “External” and “Internal”. All “Internal” users (people from your company or group) have access to the Online Storage area. It’s a perfect place to store files that everyone in your company needs access to, no matter where they are.
“External” users (your clients and suppliers) do not have access to the Online Storage area. They can simply send and receive files.
