We&#8217;ve been working hard on improving DropSend and we&#8217;ve added a new feature that many of you requested &#8211; <strong>Shared Folders<\/strong>. With this new feature you can share folders you store in your DropSend storage space with anyone you want.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the main benefits of using shared folders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Easily share folders with anyone<\/li>\n<li>Password-protect the shares<\/li>\n<li>Set the download limit<\/li>\n<li>Set expiry dates for the shares<\/li>\n<li>Ideal for collaborative projects<!--more--><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>How to Use the Shared Folders Feature<\/h4>\n<p>Using the new feature is really easy and it&#8217;s really useful if you want to share a file or a folder with several people at the same time. To share an item, do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upload the item(s) you want to share to you storage space<\/li>\n<li>Browser to your <strong>Storage<\/strong> folder and select the items you want to share<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Share a folder\" src=\"http:\/\/www.personalcomputerfixes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/share_a_folder.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"142\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Share<\/strong> button. A new window will appear<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Set limits\" src=\"http:\/\/www.personalcomputerfixes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/set_limits.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"368\" height=\"335\" \/><\/li>\n<li>In the new window you can set the <strong>download limit<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>expiry\u00a0limit<\/strong> (maximum 14 days) and <strong>protect the download with a password<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to save the changes. The download link will appear<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Download link\" src=\"http:\/\/www.personalcomputerfixes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/download_link.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"368\" height=\"335\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Copy this link and send it to the people you want to share files with<\/li>\n<li>The shared folder will appear in the Shared Items folder.
